Passport should be valid for six months required by all.


Visas

Visas are required by all.
Note: Nationals of Congo possessing dual nationality do require visas if they travel on their other passport.

Types of visa and cost
Tourist and Business: US$69 for 15 days; US$103 for one month; US$172 for three months. All visas are multiple entry.

Validity
Validity of visa depends on its length.

Send your application to Consulate (or Consular section at Embassy).

Application requirements are as following:
1) Valid passport.
2) One completed application form.
3) One passport-size photo in color.
4) Return or onward ticket.
5) Fee, payable in cash or by postal order.
6) Yellow fever vaccination certificate for travelers aged over one year.
7) Stamped, self-addressed envelope (or cost of return postage) for postal applications.
Tourist: 1-7 and, 8) certified lodging certificate, provided a resident or national of the Republic of Congo or a hotel reservation. 9) Proof of sufficient funds (credit card, pay slips, proof of employment).
Business: 1-7 and, 8) Letter from employer verifying the applicant's identity, purpose of travel and length of stay, giving the name and address of a contact in the Republic of Congo and taking responsibility for the applicant.
Note:
1) Applications made by post must be accompanied by a postal order (checks not accepted) for £5 to cover postal charges (UK and Republic of Ireland only).
2) A stamped, self addressed envelope.
3) Vaccination certificates for cholera and tetanus may also be required.
4) All journalists, photographers and researchers must provide written permission to carry out filming or research before entering the country.

A yellow fever vaccination certificate is required for all travelers over one year of age. A cholera vaccination certificate is no longer a condition of entry to Congo. Immunizations for typhoid and poliomyelitis are recommended.Malaria risk exists all year throughout the country. The recommended prophylaxis is a weekly dose of 250mg of mefloquine.

Republic of Congo Weather Conditions
The weather in the Republic of Congo is with short rains from October to December and long rains between mid-January and mid-May due to equatorial climate. The main dry season is from June to October.
