The Republic of Botswana, named the Gem of Africa, is located in Southern Africa between Namibia, Zambia, Zimbabwe and South Africa. Botswana has many amazing sites, one of which is the world’s biggest inland river delta, the fecund Okavango, which runs into the immense Kalahari Desert. The Okavango Delta is a paradise for bird watchers and home to thousands of species of birds, fish, reptiles, predators and mammals and the country’s semi-arid, shrub-bespread landscape is a refuge for rambling game. The hunter-gatherer bushmen, the aboriginals of this rugged country, still live as their ancestors in a Stone Age in isolated communities. Botswana is one of the world’s top producers of diamonds, and that is the reason of its stable economy.
