beninBenin is the best tourist country in whole of the West Africa. As a cultural site, Benin caters many attractions for the travelers in West Africa. The long and curly coastline of Benin is dotted with stunning tourist sites and is ideal for swimming, water sports and wildlife. Benin is a mixed blend of extreme and neutral climates. The ideal time to visit Benin is December to March, the most comfortable season for a visit.

The safari country Benin allures a traveler into adventure and wildlife at Pendjari Park and W Park. While the Pendjari Park is open only between mid-December and mid-May, the W park is open through out the year. The travelers can encounter here elephants, hippopotamus, buffalo and lions.

Pendjari National Park

W du Benin National Park
The W du Bénin National Park, in the extreme north of the country, is part of an extensive network of transboundary protected areas, such as the W National Park in Niger and the Arli–W–Singou complex in Burkina Faso. The park includes vast areas of Sudan savanna vegetation, and main coastal habitats along regions of the Mékrou and Alibori rivers, both major affluents of the Niger River, which make the western and eastern boundaries of the park. There is a stunning ravine through which the Mékrou runs near its junction with the River Niger.
